Nigerian gospel artist Abbey Austin celebrates the goodness of God in a new single, “Oluwaloseyi,” released on 23 October 2026.
In Yoruba, “Oluwaloseyi” is a way of saying, “It is the Lord who has done this.” The title is a short testimony, the kind of thing you say when you look at a changed situation and know you could not have done it on your own. The song itself is a joyful Yoruba praise song of thanksgiving, built around celebrating what God has done.
Gratitude has long been at the heart of Yoruba worship. Songs of thanks fill church services, family celebrations and special occasions, and a good thanksgiving song gets people on their feet. “Oluwaloseyi” fits that tradition, giving you words to thank God out loud and not only in your heart.
Two verses capture the spirit of the song. Psalm 118:23 says, “The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes,” and Psalm 126:3 says, “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” When God moves, the right response is joy and thanks.
It is a fitting song for thanksgiving services, birthdays, anniversaries, answered prayers or the end of a good week. It also makes a lovely WhatsApp Status.
We are happy to give this new single from an upcoming voice a place on iGospel. If you enjoy it, check back for more new gospel music every day.
Gratitude changes the way we see our lives. Take a minute with this song, think of three things God has done for you this year, and thank Him for each one.
