Nigerian gospel star Mercy Chinwo delivers “Hollow,” a percussive, joyful song from her 2023 EP Elevated.
Elevated was her first project under the GNT Nation label, with six songs: “Confidence,” “Yesterday Today Forever,” “Lifter,” “Hollow,” “Imela” and “Wonder.” “Hollow” was released as the fourth single, produced by Sker, and it carries a strong sense of faith, trust and contentment in God.
Contentment is a rare gift. The world tells us we need more to be happy, but Paul wrote in Philippians 4:11-12 that he had learned the secret of being content in every situation, whether well fed or hungry, living in plenty or in want. 1 Timothy 6:6 says that godliness with contentment is great gain.
