Pompi (born Chaka Nyathando) is a Zambian gospel musician who blends gospel with Afro-soul, R&B and rap. He has been active in music for over a decade and is one of the best-known gospel voices in Zambia.
His debut album, Mizu, topped the Zambian charts, and in 2013 he won two Zambian Music Awards: Best Gospel Male Artist and Best Gospel Male Album. His later work includes the album Pole Pole (2023).
Beyond music, he runs the business Lota House. He has also collaborated with artists across Africa, including Nigerian gospel rapper Limoblaze on “No Longer Stressing.”
