Prinx Emmanuel teams up with Ibquake on “Eagle,” a song about rising above the storms of life.
The eagle is a powerful Bible picture of strength and renewal. Isaiah 40:31 promises that “those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary.” Unlike other birds, the eagle is known for using the wind of the storm to climb higher.
That is the encouragement in this song: the pressures that threaten to pull you down can become the very winds that lift you up when your hope is in God. It is a reminder that believers were made to soar, not to stay grounded by fear.
Waiting on God is not doing nothing. In Isaiah 40, waiting means hoping, trusting and staying close to Him while the answer comes. That is where strength is renewed. If you feel tired, discouraged or stuck right now, this song is an invitation to lift your eyes and expect God to carry you higher than you could climb on your own. A prayer for today: Lord, renew my strength. Teach me to rise above the storm and soar in Your power. Amen.
